The Dala Fish Project is led by people who grew up alongside the very challenges the project addresses — declining fish stocks in the lake, rising unemployment, food insecurity, and community exclusion.

Our leadership combines local lived experience, aquaculture expertise, enterprise development, sustainability systems thinking, and community mobilization.

We are not an external organization working in this community — we are part of this community, building from the inside out. This proximity creates strong accountability, deep trust, and long-term commitment to transformation that lasts beyond any single program.
