At the Dala Fish Project, we operate a decentralized youth-led climate-smart aquaculture model where households become productive fish farming enterprises and replication training hubs.
Youth manage production, families provide land, and the project provides the STARTER KIT that includes training, fingerlings, mentorship, climate-smart production systems, cooperative market access, and revolving financing.
Each successful harvest supports expansion into additional households through a revolving enterprise system designed for long-term sustainability.
The model combines youth entrepreneurship, food production, climate adaptation, women empowerment, and cooperative wealth creation into one scalable ecosystem.
What begins in one home is designed to replicate itself across 1,000+ homes, funded not by perpetual grants, but by the communities themselves.
